Good morning everyone,

I am so pleased to be here today to share you my joy. Not just my embroidery skills but something special ๐Ÿ™‚

Today is a very special day for me and my husband. It’s our 10th anniversary! My long beautiful journey since I have called Australia home ๐Ÿ™‚ Being part of his life and his family made me feel so lucky. Such a beautiful bunch of people indeed. They help to shape me to be me today ๐Ÿ™‚

So today we are off to celebrate our anniversary together. Thought I will use my spare morning to upload this blog that I have been working on during the week for you.

Last week I have shown you a few simple stitches. This week we will jump on drawing. A funky pineapple that will give you a fresh and juicy morning! Get your pencil and paper ready and walk with me.

Firstly, as we are going to turn this drawing to embroidery. I will make sure that it will fit in the hoop perfectly, so let’s start with making a circle of the hoop.

Use the very light HB pencil to sketch the shape of our pineapple.

Once you are happy with your sketching, use the darker pencil to create the lines. I use 4B pencil.

Tada! Now your pineapple is looking more like a pineapple. Are you happy with it? I am quite happy with mine ๐Ÿ™‚

No, we are not finished yet. Again, as we going to turn this to our embroidery. We have to make the line ticker for tracing. I use the black texture to draw over the 4B pencil.

Rub the pencil off and use the brush to get rid of the excess.

Now you have your pineapple ready to stitch!

I hope you enjoy drawing in my version. Simple and quick! Let me go and join my hubby before he left me and go celebrate by himself. Next week I will be back to show you how to make this pineapple even juicier on the embroidery!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone ๐Ÿ™‚
