Welcome to the blog
Good morning everyone. Thank you for visiting. I am so glad you are here with me. Some of you may already know me through Instagram and Facebook, thank you for still here 🙂 For those who just got here ‘Welcome’ please make yourself home.
‘Blog’ is a new thing for me. I mean it already exists but for Hooray Hoop it is completely new. I promise I will do my best here 🙂
The idea of having my blog here is started after I have done the 4th workshop with Geelong National Wool Museum in June 2019. I feel like there are so many of us out there who love to explore ‘Embroidery’ but got no idea where to start.
Teaching is something I never see myself in before. I am one of those introvert people who always scare when I have to say something in public. My hands will get cold. My voice will start to shake. My brain will tell me ‘OMG they are watching me’
But I got over it and I feel like I actually love teaching. To be able to see someone who never does any stitching create a nearly done piece at the end of the class is such a rewarding process.
So that how I start this blog. I have set my commitment. We will see each other here once a week. Every Saturday. If you like to join me on the conversation please do so by leaving the comment.
Next week we will start to explore with ‘What I use in my embroidery’
Until then…enjoy your weekend x
Jo
